Just adding confirmation that site works fine on iMac 27 retina display and with Monterey 12.2.1, Safari ver 15.3.  Easily navigable and looks a bit snappier than old forum.

Thanks for all your hard work Keith!

                  Hi Keith,

I can’t post images right now. Tried twice to no avail.

Edit: I guess it was too big.

                    Hi

another nice feature for the future (i.e. not top priority !) would be the availability to like a post

                      Elephant,

When you say that the most recent versions of Safari on OSX have issues, are you referring to a Mac with the A1 processor?

(Posted from Safari on an iPad Pro ~4 years old)

This is posted from a MacBook Pro (15, 2018) with Monterey 12.2.1 and Safari Version 15.3 (17612.4.9.1.8).

Seems to work well, I can see no differences from Chrome (Version 99.0.4844.51 (Official Build) (x86_64)) and Brave (Version 1.36.112 Chromium: 99.0.4844.51 (Official Build) (x86_64))

For completeness last Safari test … MacBook ca 2008 El Capitan 10.11.6

                            • Version 11.1.2 (11605.3.8.1) — works

Hopefully with all these data points Keith will resolve the issue arising from Apple’s latest & greatest (may be their anti-tracking? I noticed on this machine I got a permission request for Notifications from the website …)

SAFARI issues … as documented extensive back level versions of Safrai and Mac OSX work … however not the most recent version … it still does not display even the landing page.

                              * Max OSX Monterey 12.2.1

                              – Safari Version 15.3 (17612.4.9.1.8)

I did also test Safari on

                              * an iPhone (ver cramped visual, not good for posting, viewing probably OKish)

                              * an iPad Air – usuable

I will now stop my Safari tests … if anyone else is using Mac OSX could they post their versions of Safari that work or don’t work

This post is via Firefox … not quite as good as Chrome e.g. tabbing, bulleting

                                  * safari works (not good in as the screen is poorly adapted)

I hope PhilLondon’s BeoWorld App can also be updated !

I thought it was working Keith … now I am less sure as I am seeing the “first” page as being [2] in the list of pages … so yes, the sort is working; visual no, the display seems to jump to page with the very first add to the opening post

I will retest on my most current Monterey and its Safari … however this version works:

In this thread Gold member Patcherley wanted the replies in a thread to be in reverse order meaning the latest post first.

Well, I have added some code which I think does what has been requested, but I would ask members to please test it.

If you look at this thread then the first post is my thread creator post followed by the latest post then the others in reverse order.

                                              Keith..
